There exists a unique breed of young people for whom…
Pride is a birthmark,
Dedication is a way of life,
The impossible is an achievable goal.
Ventures are very special people,
Ladies and Gentleman of Gold.
Peter Vanderkolff, Ventures Founder
From our first day of existence in 1972 the Ventures Organization has been inclusive.
For the 2020 season our adopted motto was One team. One Journey.
One of the 6 core beliefs of this motto is "Integrity & Kindness". This is the expectation that all will do the right thing even when no one is watching and to be kind in words and actions. The "teamwork" is indicative of moving away from the word "me" and thinking "we" to work to benefit all.
This simplistic motto and belief connects us to the world we live in. In broader strokes it is a belief in equal rights and treatment for all. Racism has no place here or in any society.

Announcements
The Ventures are offering two programming sessions for the 2021-2022 season
Each session will be comprised of two programs based on age and experience. The youth will work their skills in dance and equipment, cumulating into a final choreographed performance to be showcased on the last practice of the session.
The second session, beginning in January, will expand on youth skills and choreography from the first session. The youth will work towards a more challenging performance piece that will be showcased at the last practice of session two. New or interested members are welcome to join into the Junior Guard any time during sessions up until the last 3 weeks of scheduled practices. We are always looking to share the unique world of winterguard with potential new members!
Additionally, there is an opportunity open to the “A” guard to participate in WGI Virtual. This decision will be based on membership and interest during the sessions.
